Continuing the conversation on Plastics Recycling in the country, we gathered once again to address pressing and pertinent issues related to waste management in the state of Gujarat. Various stakeholders from the plastics recycling value chain including recyclers, waste managers, technology providers, and industry veterans joined to share their valuable insights and ideas on the topic.

Gujarat, India's leading plastic exporting State, has been at the forefront of driving initiatives to reduce plastic waste. The participants highlighted various measures the State government took, emphasizing their successes and shortcomings. They spoke about the challenges in implementing the EPR scheme, the financial and logistical constraints in efficient plastic waste management, and the need for collaboration among waste managers, government bodies, and the community for effective waste management.
