• Former Vice Chancellor, Ravenshaw University, a NAAC A++ Government Heritage University in Odisha (2021–2026).

• Possesses over 37 years of experience spanning teaching, research, consultancy, governance, and leadership within the polymer and allied industries.

• Has published more than 600 research papers in international journals and holds over 50 patents, registered product designs, and 30 books/chapters. He has also mentored more than 50 Ph.D. scholars.

• Played a key role in formulating standards in the petrochemicals sector as Chairman of the BIS Committee for Plastics and is recognized among the top 2% of global scientists in the field of plastics.
