Based in Flensburg, Germany, Krones Recycling's portfolio covers the entire plastics recycling process from bales to food-grade flakes. The modules for grinding, washing, sorting and decontamination are available both individually and as a turnkey recycling plant – for PET as well as polyolefins or polystyrene. In addition to gentle processing, we also attach great importance to an efficient and sustainable use of energy and resources. In the end, the recyclate meets the highest quality standards – up to food grade according to FDA, EFSA and other certificates. Solutions for direct further processing into preforms, films or fibers can also be integrated.
Consulting services and individual tests and analyses carried out in our own Recycling Technology Center round off the portfolio. There, accompanied by experts from Krones Recycling, customers can test the recycling options for their products in a fully scalable process, analyse the results and thus develop potential applications for the recyclate. In addition to plastics such as PET, HDPE, PP, LDPE, PS or EPS/XPS, adhesives and composites are also analysed and a wide range of test series carried out.
