R. Rangarajan got his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from NIT, Warangal and worked in many Petrochemical & Plastics companies. His expertise is in Technology, Marketing strategy , Business Sustainability, etc. He started his career as Graduate Engineer trainee at Hindustan Polymers Ltd, Visakhapatnam and had become the Manager ( Project/Process) when he left.

He joined Supreme Petrochem Ltd (SPL)in 1992 as Manager(Project/Process) and rose to be Sr. Vice President. He handled a variety of assignments in his career at Supreme Petrochem ranging from Project Management, Customer Service & Marketing. He helped create a vibrant Export Market for the Company and is now spearheading their initiatives in Business Sustainability, in addition to other responsibilities.

He is instrumental in developing various applications for Extruder Polystyrene Board in Cold chain applications like Reefer trucks, Temperature controlled packaging etc. He is currently helping develop abatement of Scope 3 emissions in use of Plastics raw materials in various applications by responsible collection & recycling of post-consumer plastics waste.
