Sandeep Patel, Co-Founder and CEO of NEPRA is known for his pioneering work in transforming and revolutionising the waste management and recycling sector in India. He holds an MBA in E-Commerce Strategy and Project Management from LEED’s Beckett University, United Kingdom. After returning to India, he founded NEPRA in 2006.

Under his visionary leadership, NEPRA has undergone significant transformation and is an end-to-end full-stack sustainability solutions company. Under his leadership, NEPRA operates pan-India providing a diverse range of services, and handling 3,65,000 MT waste annually. The company boasts India’s largest automated Dry Waste Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in Indore. NEPRA has 6 automated MRFs in different cities of India, and one state-of-the-art high-end plastic recycling facility.

Sandeep Patel is currently President of the National Solid Waste Association of India (NSWAI). He is an active member of various committees, such as the CII National Environment Committee, and Waste to Worth. He has received several prestigious awards including CNBC TV18 India Business Leaders Award, Forbes Social Entrepreneur of the Year (SoEY), India Today’s Garbage Guru Award at the Safaigiri Awards, etc.
