Prof. N. C. Saha is an internationally acclaimed professional with 37 years of rich experience in Packaging Science & Technology.

He was Former Director at Indian Institute of Packaging ( 2009-2019), the India’s premier Institute in Packaging under Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. An alumnus of School of Packaging, Michigan State University, USA as UNDP fellow and University of Tehran as a fellow of Asian Productivity Organization (APO).

He was Vice President of World Packaging Organization (WPO)( 2015-2018) for 3 years, and Secretary General of Asian Packaging Federation (APF)( 2012-2018). Authored three books including his latest book in “Food Packaging- materials, techniques and environmental issues” published by Springer in 2022. One Patent on “Packaging Container made of Plastic laminated Tube for liquid jiggery” for the enhancement of shelf life up to 210 days.
