Milind Chavan leads Sustainability and Circularity initiatives for Dow Packaging & Specialty Plastics. He holds a Master’s in Electronics Engineering and an MBA from IIMK (Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode). With over 30 years of experience spanning Telecom, Power, and Metals & Mining, he now holds a strategic role in shaping circular business models for plastics while championing ESG & SDG. He collaborates extensively with brand owners, FMCG companies, and stakeholders across the value chain to deliver sustainable solutions through Dow. His primary focus is on enhancing recycling practices and fostering sustainability.

Milind has spearheaded the establishment of the first Mechanical Recycling commercialization model and played a pivotal role in utilizing post-consumer plastics waste for constructing asphalt roads in Pune & Bengaluru. He is also responsible for the investments in plastic circularity, which includes mechanical and advanced recycling. He has a global footprint in publishing numerous papers and presenting at various conferences.
