Janavi Papriwal has 15 years of professional experience, having worked across investment banking, entrepreneurship and venture capital/private equity in multiple sectors. During the earlier phase of her career, she worked with JPMorgan, covering healthcare, consumer and retail sectors, was a second generation entrepreneur in the automotive ancillary space having led strategic transformation.

Since the last 6 years Janavi has been in the venture capital industry of which she had spent more than 5 years in impact investing with Aavishkaar Capital, one of the largest impact funds in India. She exited it as Investment Director last year. In her previous role, she was a Partner at JSW Ventures, an early stage venture capital fund, part of the JSW Group, a conglomerate with operating businesses in the core sectors.

With her recent transition to Associate Partner at Circulate Capital, Janavi is responsible for strengthening the company’s India portfolio and advancing circular economy solutions in the region. She is a recipient of the Top Under 40 Alternative Investment Professionals in India 2021, a recognition of excellence conferred by the Indian Association of Alternative Investment Funds.
